Our Team
Our Founders
One of our founders, Kevin La Van, boasts more than 35 years of travel expertise, having helped individuals in the Beverly area of Chicago as well as from across the nation design their ideal vacations. Additionally, he is the founder of Play Poker Chicago, a local poker room dedicated to raising funds for 501(c) charities while providing an excellent room for local players. A cancer survivor and proud dog dad, when Kevin isn't at the poker table, he can be found cheering for his favorite football team, Leicester City.
Josh Allison, our prodigy, stumbled upon the poker industry while volunteering at a local charity where Play Poker Chicago was playing. He had a chance encounter with Kevin, and his career took an unexpected turn into poker at the tender age of 18. Shortly after, Josh joined Play Poker Chicago he swiftly rose through the ranks to become the room manager and a part-owner. This year, he and his partner ventured into the world of travel by forming Play Poker Vacations. Beyond his poker endeavors, Josh is an Eagle Scout, a cross-country runner, and a volleyball player in his high school days.
Together they form the dynamic duo that is Play Poker Vacations.
